A dude who talks a lot about a lot of things. Life, family, friends, music and barely contained bluster.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Yesterday, I went to watch a high school basketball game with my brother and a friend. A girl who is only a sophomore and supposedly the next big thing in the state was playing. She was incredible. She hung 33 points on the opposing team and helped her squad cruise to an easy victory. In the game prior to this one, she outscored the entire other team, 44 to 41. I’ve seen some unbelievable things in my life. This was one of them.
Afterward, my brother and my friend went to grab a drink and some wings at a local pub. The wings were hands-down the best I’ve ever had, and I had a couple of their original brews. Delicious. I love finding places like this. I’m dying to go back.
My boss handed me a photo to scan. It was a black and white picture of him kissing his wife-to-be, leaning up against an old car, on Martha’s Vineyard, I’m guessing sometime in the late 70s, early 80s. It was super cool. It’s nice to see hidden aspects and different sides of people you’ve known for years.
I tried to learn to ride a unicycle a couple years ago and failed. It’s hard.
I need to get my car inspected.
I never take a drink or eat anything else that goes with my lunch until I’ve eaten half of my sandwich.
I don’t leave the car until the song is over.
Fat lady, sing.
